Ella Dorsey is a multiple Emmy Award-winning meteorologist at Atlanta News First, where she serves as the morning weekday forecaster from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Ella has been a fixture on Atlanta airwaves for nine years. She has her Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) designation and serves on the University of Georgia Board of Directors. In 2024, she was honored as part of UGA’s 40 Under 40 list.

Ella spent her early childhood in Baltimore, Maryland, before moving to Atlanta with her family at the age of 13. Both of her parents were journalists and worked at the Atlanta Journal Constitution in the early 2000s.

In addition to weather, Ella is an avid football fan, regularly appearing on sports-radio talk shows in Atlanta. She’s a devoted supporter of the Baltimore Ravens and Georgia Bulldogs, often spotted wearing their gear year-round. When she’s not watching radar or football, Ella enjoys cooking and traveling.
